Location: Archipelago of Los Roques, Federal dependence.
Surface: 221.120 have.
Altitude: 0-120 msnm.
Precipitation: 250 mm.
Temperature: 28-30 °C
Climate: Warm of marinates insular influence.
Vegetable Covering: Herbazales coast
halofilos, arbustales coast xerofilos, semi-arid with vegetation
xerofila or mount espínoso and swamps.
Flora: Mangrove (Rhizophora mangrove, clear Avicennia,
laguncularia recemosa or Conocarpus erectus) prairies of marinates
Fanerogamas ace Thalassia testudinum, species halofitas like the glass (Sesuvium
portulacastrum) grass, cactaceas like the tuna guasabara (opuntia
caribea) and the crop (Melocactus caesius).
Fauna: Ave marinas, tijeretas, gulls, fools, pelicans. Endemic
Ave: common (Coereba flaveolalowii) queen. The Lobster is very abundant.
Fish and spineless aquatic diverse. There am / she receives annually but
of 50 species of migratory birds. Great diversity of spineless marinates
ace the botuto (Strombus jigs) and the Lobster (Panulirus argus) and
fish associated to the coral reef. Among the marinates turtles it
highlights the turtle verda (Chelonia Mydas).
Landscape, Geomorphology and Geology: Coralline atoll of numerous
islands and keys with an extensive barrier of alive coral surrounding to
central lagoon, besides spectacular beaches in the keys and islands.
Resources Hidricos: Water fountains candy don't exist. In the Gran Roque
an internal lagoon that works ace saline exists.
Areas of Life: Mount tropical thorny.
Historical Places: Old Lighthouse of Gran Roque, built between
1870 and 1880.
Places Visitables: The diverse keys and islands of the park, the
Gran Roque`s town and their old lighthouses.
Accesses: Via it marinates or area until jetty or the aeropueto
in the Gran Roque, respectively.
Lodging and other services: Posadas in the Gran Roque.
Gear and team: Chord with beach landscapes: clear and comfortable
clothes, caps or hats, sunglasses, solar protectors, it dilutes
drinkable and drinks. The scubadiving requires the snorkel uses,
chapaletas and compressed air bombonas to enjoy the beauties of the
coralline reefs.
Depth and transparency of the water. The calcareous formations of
diverse and capricious architectures, from crenels and towers of castles

calcareous deposition of kindred minuscule animals of the jellyfishes

of fish, they have been described in the archipelago.
